Is there a way to increase the cursor size and add a trail to the cursor on Fedora 17?

Hi, Gnome, kde, lxde, xfce? if you use Gnome install dconf-editor

How to install dconf-editor?

su -c 'yum -y install dconf-editor'

Go to : ORG > GNOME > DESKTOP > INTERFACE > CURSOR-SIZE

Now change

Default value was 24; The changes are immediately; The user opening the editor is the user who sees those changes. Tested with Fedora 17.
