wont play videos

i have loaded fedora 17 and updated it with the apper. i cannot figure out how to make videos work. it will browse online but it wont play videos when i select them. i cannot also figure out how to watch dvd's. i believe i need to configure something. please help

You need install and activate RpFusion and Livna

from terminal:

su (here you need write you root pasword)

Copy & Paste

yum localinstall --nogpgcheck http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release.rpm

After install all codecs

yum -y install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-ffmpeg ffmpeg mencoder ffmpeg2theora mplayer libdvdcss

Or you can install easly with PostInstallerF

try installing vlc: open a terminal and type: sudo yum install vlc press enter
