Hi, I'm using Fedora 17, when I installed I forgot to encrypt the "/" and the "/home" partition. I usually travel so it's important to me to have those partitions encrypted

How can I encrypt them? Do I have to re-install? Is there an app which would make it easier?

Thanks

If you want to encrypt / then reinstalling would probably be best. If you want to just encrypt /home (or another directory) then you can follow the procedure on the wiki:fedoraproject.org/wiki/Implementing_LUKS_Disk_Encryption#Manually_Encrypting_Directories

From a security point of view, encrypting just your /home could lead to holes in your security. Encrypting everything but /boot is preferable.
