reboot fail while installing fedora 16

when i reboot or poweroff,it show following problem PXE-E61:media test failure ,check cable PXE-M0F:exiting intel boot agent, reboot and select proper boot device

for a very strange reason: I had to enable UEFI support in my bios to make Fedora boot (installing worked without errors, but without UEFI = On in my bios it refused to find a bootable partition.

maybe you can give it a try.

boot with a live disc

su
fdisk /dev/sda
a
1
w
q

(this probably will solve your problem)

Check the boot order priority from the BIOS and set it to the one with which your computer should boot in (CD,USB,HDD)

Somehow your machine is trying to get a OS from the network (network boot) but is not able to get one. Try setting the boot order priority in BIOS and then do a reboot

Can you check in BIOS if your booting from LAN option is enabled or not. If yes can you disable it.
