How to create hotspot in fedora 22?

when the laptop is connected to broadband (wired), how to create the hotspot ?

First you need to connect your PC to your wire connection then, on GNOME control panel go to Network and click on wireless connection then click on the boton use as hotspot. That work simple an easy.

Does that go for spins other than Gnome? Do other interface have the full NetworkManager treatment?

In this case it is manage by NetworkManager so the interface must be on NetworkManager, While I have not used like that on other desktop if you using kde it should work the same not sure for xfce. The other option is to set it up by hand
