Hello there... I'm sorry if asking something stupid for some people, but i've never successed install the new fedora 22, heck i even fail do fed up from 20 to 21 (the boot stopped at some Intel FIFO error on 21). So here's my question:

  1. Does fedora 21 and up still support laptop with only the old BIOS? Because most my googling resulted on UEFI things. And my laptop is not UEFI based.
  2. If supported, how to install the fedora 22? And of course for non-uefi system.

Thank you for anyone who willing to help this noob one.

You should have no issue with you lapto for installing Fedora 21 and 22, if you have an issue it will not have to do with you bios of if it is UEFI. Can you tell us what is your video card, have you run a memory test?

There's no problem with memtest, and my laptop is intel hd with nvidia 620m optimus. When doing fed-up, i uninstalled the nvidia driver and bumblebee. Well, if i can install fedora 22, how i can do that? Any guide? I've googled for 1 week and no luck.

Okay, now i'm sure i hit the bug with dual GPU. I've successfully install it, but when booting it won't even go past grub (sometimes it stopped after bios splash, and sometimes blank after login). With that bug in f22, gonna stick with 20 until next release hoping for better dual-gpu system. Thank you, aeperezt... (^ω^)
