Entering commands

I am trying to get the driver for my wireless. The instructions say to enter a command. Where do I enter it?

It would probably be a terminal.

In gnome: Activity corner > applications > system tools > terminal

In KDE: type "terminal" in the search box after clicking the fedora logo on the bottom left corner.

In another desktop environment, go through the applications list and look for anything on the lines of "terminal" or "console".
