Erractic bluetooth keyoard with FC20 and FC21

Hi,

I'm using this ( https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en... ) Microsoft bluetooth keyboard.

When typing sometimes it repeats characters (like the key was pressed multiple times) or input is just simply missed. Problematic when entering passwords.

I'm guessing the problem maybe in the Microsoft bluetooth USB dongle but I could be wrong. Restarting the bluetooh service helps (sudo systemctl restart bluetooh.service).

Anyone else experienced this problem?

I don't have specific advice for your situation, but I've had this issue before, in Ubuntu, and it's a common problem with BT keyboards on a lot of systems. The advice is usually to "forget" and re-pair the keyboard, and to check the key repeat rate settings (although you have probably already done that).

The other thing I can say is that BT is still a little bit of a mess. You may be wise to suspect the hardware, i.e., the dongle or the keyboard itself. I've had pretty good success with the Plugable USB dongle on linux. They're cheap if you want to try one.
