kvm Windows Performance

Hi,

I'm trying to move away from VMWare and started to play with KVM. My question is about the ideal performance configuration to maximize Windows XP performance. What would maximize the VM Performance, other than throwing Memory and Processors at it? Should I define IDE, SATA, or SCSI bus for the Virtual Disk?

I think this would be a start on performance tuning XP for this. It appears that the article recommends SATA.
