Hi,

I'm using the latest kvm on a fedora 16 host and I'm trying to create a Scientific linux guest on the machine.

However, the creation step fails with the following message:

ERROR internal error Process exited while reading console log output: char device redirected to /dev/pts/3

The traceback in virt-manager is:

Unable to complete install: 'internal error Process exited while reading console log output: char device redirected to /dev/pts/3
'

Traceback (most recent call last):

I'm not sure why this isn't working or what I'm doing wrong. I'll be glad to provide any other details required.

I faced "similar" error with KVM. I tried with (temporarily) disabling selinux. It worked for me... so try it.

I don't think disabling SELinux is a good idea.I really can't understand why folks want to disable a security feature when you could easily configure it for KVM.
