I just installed the new Fedora 22 KDE spin.

When I install and open GTK apps, they look very ugly because they are completely un-themed. I can't find GTK themeing support in System Settings nor in Apper. I tried installing the oxygen-gtk2 package as suggested somewhere online, but without success.

I really like KDE, but it's really less attractive if all non-Qt apps are ugly as hell...

GTK themes can be changed in System Settings.

dnf install kde-gtk-config

System Settings > Application Style > GTK Application Style

There is an unfinished port of Breeze for GTK+ apps at Github. Download and unzip themes in ~/.themes.

A more recent solution would be to download the breeze-gtk theme from , install it in ~/.themes, and make the necessary changes in Settings - Applications style - GNOME... -GTK Themes.

I have installed the latest F22 KDE and so far I like it, I upgraded the video drivers to nvidia binary. I have tried what was written here and also lxappearance because I have used that before and can't egt apps to take the gtk themes, there is a nice dark theme flatstudio that comes in gtk 2 and 3 I have used this before on other desktops, it works great on desktops with gtk 2 and 3 apps. Here it's like I didn't do anything at all, Chromium looks horrible, gnome-disks and firefox also. I aam at a loss the look is driving me nuts, any help would be greatly appreciated, also that "gnome-breeze" from github wouldn't import normally I had to just drop it in the themes folder.

thanks in advance for any help
