GUI hangs on logout [F22] [Gnome-Shell]
Hi All,
I just did a fresh clean install of Fedora22 and I am running into a few problems that I believe are related.
Sometimes booting up into a graphical interface just doesn't work. If i press escape from the Plymouth Screen, I read the following error message: "A start job is running for Wait for Plymouth Boot Screen to Quit" and just hangs for ever
If I enable auto-login for my main user, then wish to logout, I get the same error message as above.
I am running on an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K with no additional graphics card.
This is also happening an a laptop that is also running a similar generation Intel Processor.
Is this a known issue? I would submit a bug report, but I really don't know what to submit it to.
Thanks,
Don't have any answers unfortunately but I'm having the same issue as well on Fedora Server 22.
I ran
yum groups install "Fedora Workstation"
and changeddefault.target
tographical.target
to boot up into GNOME with no problems.I didn't have this issue on the same computer with a clean install of Fedora Workstation 22 but am seeing it with Fedora Server 22 (with GNOME enabled).
