Substituting left super key for shell overlay.

I have a professional keyboard but it is gaming focused. It has no left super key and it is frustrating to bring up the shell overlay, because I have to go to the top right corner with my mouse. I looked around in the keyboard settings but that key doesn't seem to be in there. So I can't figure out how to change it. I am hoping there is some kind of magic I can do in the shell to change this.

I want to substitute the key with the a combo of the left-alt, left-shift, and Z. If that is not possible the right super key is fine. I might be using the wrong keyboard layout.

I am running Gnome 3.14 on Fedora 21.

It can be set in settings->keyboard->Shortcuts->System->Show overview. Or you can use Alt+F1 by default.

Alt-F1 just brings up the applications menu, because I have an extension for it. It doesn't seem to bring up the overlay.

There is no magic needed. At first install tools for detail configuring gnome.

sudo yum install -y dconf-editor

Then start it and go to /org/gnome/mutter. Here you need an overlay-key. As in picture below: image description

And you can set overlay-key to any key you want. I also tried to set set this value with a key combo, such as Super_L+Alt_L, but it doesn't work. So you should use only the one key.

For overlay shortcut in dconf go to /org/gnome/shell/keybindings and setup overlay-key. See picture below: image description
