error running fedora on vmware10
hi every body i tried to install fedora 21 on vmware but when i power it on ` it gets me an error with this content:
This virtual machine is configured for 64-bit guest operating systems. However, 64-bit operation is not possible.
This host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled.
Intel VT-x might be disabled if it has been disabled in the BIOS/firmware settings or the host has not been power-cycled since changing this setting.
i use windows 7 x64 .why it cant be run?
Welcome to ask.fedora! That's an interesting question that alas, I can't answer. I can, however point out that you don't (or shouldn't) need to power-cycle after changing your BIOS settings, just save the changes and continue on to boot. Last, where does it say that VT-x is disabled?
