i am trying to install fedora 21 server and anaconda crashes

when i run a text instaI i get the message

error wiping old signatures from /dev/mapper/ddf1_megasr r1 #0p1:1

can anyone tell me what that means?

  1. It is a custom ou automatic installation? 2. Do you have another partition that you cannot delete? 2. Do you have more than one disk? 3. Did you try install again?

Probably it is this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug....

If possible, try a clean automatic installation. Otherwise delete all fedora partitions (keep only your own partitions(if there is)) and try again.

Thanks for the information so far. It is a brand new Lenovo server. I downloaded fedora 21 server onto a USB stick and verified the checksum. I then went through the GUI automatic install steps. There are two 2TB hard drives set up as RAID (mirror) devices. I selected the options and hit begin installation, very shortly it crashed. I tried a couple of times using the GUI and once using the text installation. Same results each time.
