Running totem 3.14.2 on Fedora Workstation 21.

When I quit Totem and restart double-clicking on the same file, it starts playing movie from the start.

I want Totem to start playing the movie where I had stopped earlier.

How to do that?

@aniship can you suggest some other player that does remember the position?

Kmplayer has got this functionality. Kmplayer is not available in Fedora/rpmfusion repos so you have to download it from here Then yum install kmplayer***.rpm After that, start kmplayer then F2 > General > Remember the played position of video files

Both smplayer and gnome-mplayer have that functionality and both are in the rpmfusion repos.
