Hi guys

Installed Kernel 3.19.3-200.fc21.x86_64 and restarted my machine. It shows "dummy device" in the sound output window and also my network adapter (wired & wifi) is not detected. Booted back to older kernel 3.19.1-201.fc21.x86_64 and everything works fine. Does anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem and tried to sort it out, it seems that drivers for some hardware is not updated. This comes usually with some extra packages some days afterwards, but the kernel 3.19.1-201 have been out for some days now. It has even been released a new kernel (3.19.3-200) I decided to make a clean install, and now the system runs smooth. This is not a suggestion for you. Hope you get some good answers from the community so you can fix this.

Hey, make sure your sound module is being loaded. I fixed it with

sudo modprobe snd-hda-intel

But if you have a different sound module modprobe it with the correct one.
