Hi,

Hi,
I want to install whatsApp in fedora 26 i KDE desktop environment.
Hi
How to install WhatsApp on Fedora 21
Using the plugin
1). Install Pidgin:
yum install pidgin -y
2). Install the plugin
These instructions are for Fedora 21
a) Execute the following command as root in the terminal
yum-config-manager --add-repo=https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/davidgf/whatsapp-purple/repo/fedora-21/davidgf-whatsapp-purple-fedora-21.repo
b) Now you can just install the package like you normally do, as root:
yum install whatsapp-purple
3). Get a WhatsApp account (or get the account's password): HERE
https://davidgf.net/whatsapp/#portfolioModal-getpass
4). Setup the account in pidgin: HOWTO
You can try out this cross platform package called Franz. It integrates WhatsApp Web, and also lets you use other services such as Facebook Messenger, Slack, GMail, etc. Check it out : https://meetfranz.com/
UPDATE: The newest version of Franz is currently only available for Windows and Mac. But you can download the legacy version for Linux from here : https://github.com/meetfranz/franz-ap...
UPDATE 2: To make it easier to install and setup, you can use this shell script: https://gist.github.com/ruebenramirez...
Download that script (in the form of a .zip file), and extract it to where you want (Eg: Downloads). Now, in a terminal, type:
cd $HOME/Downloads && sudo chmod u+x *.sh && sudo ./setup-franz-ubuntu.sh
NOTE: The shell script says setup-franz- ubuntu .sh, but it works perfectly fine on Fedora 26 (I've used this script myself).
I greet and congratulate the publication, I would like to know if it is my step or process in Fedora Linux 28 or 29 LXDE both 32 and 64 Bits.
If so, please kindly post the steps to install Fedora Linux 28 or 29 LXDE 32 and 64 Bits.
Thank you for your attention, help and prompt response.

Use whatsApp Web with firefox it works. But if you want WhastApp it self try this post, it is on Spanish but instructions it self are in English. Not try it do, but friend did and seem to work http://tuxfed.blogspot.mx/2015/01/instalar-whatsapp-en-fedora-21-install.html
Installing whatsapp involves running a virtual machine to host the whole of Android before you can begin using whatsapp. Then the interface you are using will be designed for a touch screen, not for a mouse and keyboard. I strongly second @aeperezt's suggestion - use web.whatsapp.com!
