I don't whether other see it or not but Video quality definately looks better on Linux (Fedora 21) than my dual boot windows. I am using Descret graphics settings on my Laptop(Acer 5745G), and on windows the video looks less sharp and crisp. So, is there a specific reason or am I being delusional?
The video decoders such as ffmpeg are known to be very high quality and might be part of the reason.
Hmm seems so, me colleague suggested me it may be due to clean UI (He uses Klite codec with ffdshow decoder on windows). In windows we see a relevant amount of noise on borders of a window. Even if visual effects are chosen over performance. Thanks, for info I will try it myself over windows.
