Hey guys,

When I installed fedora 21 I tried to use docker but was unable to install the package I tried yum and says that cant package. Is there an RPM for it ? How do I go about installing docker on fedora 21 on a 64 bit system ?

Can you be more specific about the command you ran, and the output of the command?

Without the specific error is difficult to diagnose the problem. Anyway, to install docker on Fedora 21 you should execute the following commands as root:

yum -y install docker-io
systemctl start docker
systemctl enable docker

And you are all set.

For Fedora21 these installation instructions are not quite correct. The package is called docker-io, not docker. --> sudo yum install docker-io

Docker is part of the Fedora repositories.

You should be able install it by following command: sudo yum -y install docker-io.

You can find instructions howto start the docker daemon here.
