When I look at them with "System Log". The messages log is hard to view this way as it keep jumping the README that shows up as a type of log. When I started to scroll down messages I would see messages from several days ago and then more messages from current day a so forth. However if I run journalctl | less and then search for a date they are in the correct order.

This has cleared and now "System Log" under "messages" type is responsive. It doesn't pause when I scroll through the log or jump to other dates or the README file which it was doing pretty consistently. I can't say 100% what fixed it but the only thing I changed was to disable tracker, still unclear whether any updates from Fedora 21 had anything to do with it.

I did that by following direction at .
