Cursor freezes in KDE
Hi there,
I am new to this community, and I've searched for an answer to this question with no luck. I recently decided to dual-boot my Windows machine with Fedora 21 w/ KDE, and before I switched to away from Gnome everything worked fine (I just really dislike Gnome). Once I switched to KDE, I noticed that every now & then when I am in the middle of working the cursor just freezes and won't move/interact with the screen anymore (the keyboard stops responding too) and the only option is to reboot. It has caused me to lose unsaved work numerous times.
I have some experience with Ubuntu/Lubuntu/Linux Mint on a laptop, but this is the first time I've ever used it on a desktop with a video card (NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT) and sound card (Auzentech X-Fi Bravura 7.1) so perhaps I don't have the correct drivers? I'm not sure how to install drivers in Fedora. Also I'm pretty sure the sound card driver doesn't even exist for Linux (the software that came w/ the sound card only mentions Windows/comes as an .exe file) Anyway I digress, I'm mostly just trying to figure out the cursor issue, but in case it's related to the video card any help with drivers would also be appreciated.
Thanks
