F21 Nvidia-304xx GDM and Gnome (but not SDDM and KDE)

Anyone get nvidia-304xx working with F21 and GDM/Gnome? I can't get anywhere at all, and nouveau freaks out after just a few minutes.

SDDM and KDE work as they should, but GDM and Gnome do not. I cannot start Gnome from SDDM.

Based on other threads and bugzillas, I've unsuccessfully tried these ideas as well: -- changing SELinux permissions from "blocking" to "permissive" -- reinstalling with updates-testing enabled

I have triple checked that I'm using the correct drivers (304xx) and kernel-dev.

lspci shows I'm running a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430. It's old, but is still listed as supported. This combination worked successfully with f20, and with the current Debian testing.

If any other bugs have been filed relating to this, I'd gladly copy this information there as well. I've found listings for 340xx, but not 304xx

I'm not a gamer, so suggestions to make nouveau work would be just as welcome.

How did you install nvidia-304xx?

per the RPM Fusion instructions, using both kmod and akmod:

yum install kmod-nvidia-304xx akmod-nvidia-304xx "kernel-devel-uname-r == $(uname -r)"

Seems to work fine with LightDM and Cinnamon as well
