I am using TLP for power management and energy savings for my Thinkpad (X201) that I just upgraded from F20 to F21. It looks like there is no repo for F21 available from

Is there any repo should I use instead?

Thanks Florian

TLP is in the standard Fedora repository, no addon is necessary... unless you want the kernel drivers for the Thinkpad specific features. Those are provided by the site, and as you state, there are none yet available for Fedora 21.

The SRPMs for Fedora 20 are here:

You could try to rebuild them on your Fedora 21 system and see if they result in working RPMs. Good luck!

Which Thinkpad do you use? The newer ones (I think beginning with X220, T420/520) need the acpi_call kernel module. This one doesn't build for kernels >= 3.17.x without a patch fixing some included. You can have a look at to create a patch.

My machine is a X201, and I think I had this kernel module installed previously. I might just wait until this module is available for Kernel > 3.17

For X201 you don't need this module, you need tp_smapi instead (also available in the linrunner repo for f20)

Right, tp_smapi is the module that I have installed (and previously had installed under F20).
