Hello Community,

I recently installed fedora 21 and I cannot get chromium to use the ms fonts. It works just fine in firefox. Since I am a newbie I dont know what kind of extra info you will need. So just ask me and I will provide.

How did you install the ms fonts? You can do yum install msttcore-fonts-installer-2.6-1.noarch.rpm to install ms fonts. Grab the rpm from http://sourceforge.net/projects/mscorefonts2/?source=typ_redirect

How is Fedy suppose to take care of his needs? There are a number of possibilities 1. He didn't install ms fonts properly. 2. He might need to run fc-cache -r to cache newly installed fonts. 3. We might be on the wrong path all together. I asked him to provide info on how he installed ms fonts. Fedy in a nutshell is a script that you download from world wild web under sudo and run all commands under sudo which isn't the best possible thing if you are concerned about security and possibly breaking your system. I would rather have you provide exactly what Fedy does.
