Has anyone had a issue where the wifi card will not find networks when you unplug the Ethernet cable? I have the broadcom wireless card installed. When I unplug the Ethernet cable and the wifi enables, it will not find networks under the select network section. Once I log off then back on it finds them fine.

Any ideas?

Please have a look at: http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php Aditional info: tested WIFI just plug&play nothing else from cable->wifi->cable: sweex:Failed not recognized, smc passed, Belkin passed. fallback from calbe to WIFI perfect.

I already installed the broadcom drivers from there. That is the only way I could get it to work at all. The issue is when I plug in the ethernet cable and then unplug the wireless will not see any wifi connections. I have to log out then back in for it to work. I did find a plugin today that will refresh the search. I will try it and see what happens.

The refresh networks add on did not work. I did find if I just turn off the wifi hardware switch and turn it back on it will see the networks. At least I do not have to log out now.
