Why is oracle virtualbox not included in the Fedora Software Center?
Oracle Virtualbox is free and open source, released under GPL Version 2. In order to install it, one has to install these dependencies as outlined in this article installing virtualbox on fedora 19/20. But wouldn't it better to have it working out of the box and including it in the official Fedora repositories?I mean have it be in the Fedora software center and have it install it's dependencies automatically sort of just like many other programs do. Or is there perhaps some issue with it's kernel modules or the packages it requires that cause difficulty to Fedora developers and testers? This question coming from a programming ignorant person.
