I installed VirtualBox on my machine running Fedora 21 (64-bits) today. Once VirtualBox was installed, it needed me to restart my computer. I did so, and ran into no issues booting, but now networking just doesn't load. At all.

No network options, no WLAN, no Ethernet, nothing at all. I typically keep my computer connected through the Ethernet cable, so wireless doesn't matter to me very much, but I'd like to be able to get the machine back online. I'm not sure where to start with fixing it.

Anybody have advice?

It looks like a second Fedora 21 option was added to my OS list on my bootloader, then moved to the top of the list. By selecting the second option on the list, (the original one, that is) I'm able to get into Fedora with networking enabled. I'm not sure why this is, but at least I've got a fix.

Installing Virtualbox Instructions. Did you follow the instructions of this article and installed all the dependencies as outlined there? Or maybe it is installed in a different way in 21? Have you tried gnome-boxes instead? They are officially supported. And have you enabled virtualization in bios?

I ran into similar issue. May be it's VM network adapter settings. Check this out: https://gridwizard.wordpress.com/2014/12/26/setup-linux-vm-with-sftp-guide-for-msdev/
