After installing Fedora 21 there is no option to "print to PDF" in the print dialogs. In Fedora 20 on used to choose "Print to File" with two options, postscript and PDF and also select the name of the file.

How can I enable "Print to PDF" functionality in Fedora 21?

I tested in Evince and I do have the option "Print to File" (PDF, Postscript and SVG).

yes, @skytux is right, most applications come with the inbuilt ability to print or export to a PDF file.

Cups (the printing subsystem) can also be configured with a PDF output 'printer'. I've used this before, but there isn't much call for it as most apps can already do it. I've never added this through the printer config on Fedora - I've only ever added it through the CUPS config web page on my CentOS server.

I double checked an apparently the behavior I saw was related to the fact that I was looking at a DJVU file in Evince. Since the conversion is application dependent (as comments say) apparently this can happen. I other words the situation is very localized.

When I open a PDF or a postscript with Evince, or almost any other application I have the PDF option back.
