Fedora21 hangs on boot after update

I've installed Fedora 21 successfully. Everything was working fine until it requested an update through desktop notification. After chosing 'reboot and update' option it took a while to boot, and then it just hang on Fedora logo. It's been hanging since then, nothing changes. I am unable to reach the login screen, however I am able to go through GRUB options. It's only after loading it stays on Fedora logo.

After googling about it for a while I noticed that people had issues with it in previous Fedora versions too, also there is a known bug related to NVIDIA, however unaplicable here since it worked fine until the update.
