I have a Broadcom BCM43142. Here's what lspci has to say:

01:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01)
    Subsystem: Lenovo Device [17aa:0611]
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 18
    Memory at b0400000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=32K]
    Capabilities: <access denied>
    Kernel driver in use: wl
    Kernel modules: bcma, wl

It looks like the only driver that will work with it is wl. I even asked b43 devs if there's a plan to support my card in the near future, and they say no. But there are endless problems with wl. It takes a very long time to connect, then an extremely long time to load a page, and then disconnects after about a minute, without indicating that it's disconnected. It's very frustrating.

I should note that wifi works perfectly on Windows, and using other devices on my network.

This is an extension of my previous question here, which hasn't been answered.
