The error is quite clear - there's something wrong with the virtualbox.repo file. Either remove it, or edit your question to include it and we'll help you correct it.

Same request: please paste the /etc/yum.repos.d/virtualbox.repo file for us to see.

fpaste /etc/yum.repos.d/virtualbox.repo should do it.

Okay, can anyone answer this question without being a total jerk? I understand that you want to keep this operating system all to yourself, but honestly, I just want a computer that works without sucking up to either MS or Apple. I'm a carpenter. When you have a problem, you don't want me to tell you how stupid you are, because you don't understand what I do. You want me to either fix the problem OR to tell you in plain English what the problem is and how to fix it. Otherwise, I'm just making myself look cool and wasting your time, am I right? You know I am. So here's the problem. I followed instructions to the letter to install Chrome on my Fedora machine. That's all I want to do. I don't want to learn how to rewrite the operating system. When your roof is leaking, do you want me to demand you go to school to learn how asphalt shingles are made? No. You just want it to stop leaking. That's why you turn to someone with expertise, to have your question answered, not to be blanketed with a bunch of bullshit and abuse. I am trying to install Chrome, and every time I follow the instructions exactly as printed, I get the following: [dbradley@localhost ~]$ yum install google-chrome-stable Loaded plugins: langpacks, refresh-packagekit

File contains no section headers. file: file://///etc/yum.repos.d/google-chrome.repo, line: 1 'name=google-chrome\n' [dbradley@localhost ~]$

Now, is it possible for someone to actually help me out and tell me both what is wrong and how to fix it? I promise that when your toilet backs up, I won't ask you what you've been eating.
