How do I use Tor on Fedora? [closed]
Hello, I am new to Linux and am currently running different versions to better educate myself concerning the differences between different distros. My question is I am currently evealuting Fedora 20 and like its flashy looks now concerning programs like TOR, I downloaded it as a Tar file and unpacked it and when I tried to execute the start tor script it would not do so. Now in my other distro that I use Ultimate 4.2 and ultimate 3.8 it was just a question of double clicking and lauching this script and it loaded without a problem. I do know that Ultimate uses Ubuntu and its derivatives and Fedora use RPM packaging but I assumed it would have just worked like Ultimate did. I also believe that this script launches Java which facilitates the launching of the tor relay and browseer within Ultimate. So back to my question how do i lauch the tor browser script in Fedora?
I've edited your question to make it more specific.
Turns out that this question is a duplicate. If you're looking to only install the browser, please refer to this question: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/48338/how-to-add-tor-repository-on-f20-and-install-tor/
If you're looking to install the entire bundle, please refer to this question: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/30855/how-do-i-install-the-tor-browser-bundle-on-fedora/
In the future, please search the forum first to see if a related question has already been asked :)
Also note that if you had provided a summary with "tor" in it, these two questions would've come up as suggestions while you were asking your questions. Please take a minute to read the Ask Fedora guidelines here. They have quite a few good tips - http://tinyurl.com/askfedora-guidelines
