How can I determine if my Fedora workstation is affected by the Shellshock bash vulnerability
I assume folks are aware of this bug. If not, background here http://www.troyhunt.com/2014/09/everything-you-need-to-know-about.html .
I'm a Fedora 20 user. How can I tell if I'm affected.
Make sure you have read http://fedoramagazine.org/shellshock-update-bash-packages-that-resolve-cve-2014-6271-and-cve-2014-7169-available/ and will you fixed bash package bash-4.2.48-2.fc20
I upvoted but to be honest, in a workstation environment, you aren't going to need to worry much. You're probably affected right now and with the next update you won't be. You need to worry if your computer is publicly accessible.
