Latest kernel won't enable PCMCIA slot
Recently during a system update, yum installed a new kernel, 3.15.10-200
. I've just discovered that when using that kernel, my laptop's PCMCIA card slot is disabled; none of my network cards nor my PCMCIA-to-USB adapter will function. I don't have that problem with my spare Fedora kernel, 3.11.10-301
, or with any other Linux kernel I've used. Is there a workaround for this, or should I report this to Bugzilla and wait for the next kernel update?
Probably a bugzilla one. Check
dmesg
.
