I some times play Team Fortress 2 on Steam on Fedora 20 Gnome. Gaming is going just fine but the gpu is getting really hot, I can't tell a number. Is there anything that i can do about that via software? I have a Acer Aspire V5 552G laptop AMD Radeon HD 8750M graphics card.
I don't think so, except if you change your 3D graphics settings. e.g. reducing the graphical effects used in the game. And if you have installed AMD catalyst, it might have a number of settings which can affect that. Usually, more graphics quality results in more heat!
