Why doesn't "hard info" not work on the command line? what shows system information like in windows 7??????

What is 'hard info' supposed to do?

Use lspci and lsusb instead.

Hardinfo is no longer available for fedora. You can install i-nex instead from sourceforge i-nex_x86_64

Or use lshw

yum install lshw lshw-gui
