How to boot for AMD Processors
I am in a Linux class, and I received Fedora 13 and tried to install it on my laptop, but I am having some serious issues. I am trying to load it on a Toshiba Satellite A305D-S6848 which has the AMD Turion X2 64 processor. I meet all the requirements, but it will not boot up. I tried a version of 20.0 and still had issues. Can some one please help. I am new to Linux and want to learn, but am getting frustrated that I can't even get Linux to load on my PC.
Thanks for any help.
Please update your question with what exactly happens when u boot with F20? Does it show any error? Does it starts populating the fedora balloon? The installation media that you are using, is it a LIVE media?
Fedora 13 is too old, and might not support your hardware (e.g. graphics card). It's better for you to test Fedora 20.

Errors about sr0 are errors in reading your CD/DVD disk. The disk can be corrupted or dirty. Do you see the same errors for both Fedora 13 and 20?
