Whell on the official web site the disros are Debian and Ubuntu, so what I say is:

  1. Even know is Debian or Ubuntu they provide a tarball (tar.gz file) get it extract it and see what happens
  2. Alternatives: Qbittorrent, Transmission

I recomment Deluge or rtorrent for the command line.

We're overflowing with torrent clients. Please look at https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/s/torrent :D
