Hello, first of all I want to confess that I am everything but an expert in this, but I'm trying to change that, so here's my problem. I'm running Fedora 20 on an Acer Aspire V5-131 (Intel Celeron 1007U Processor) and since the last big update I'm having a constant problem with the file management system (which I believe to be nemo). It displays everything quite normally but as soon as I open the search function and enter something the whole program crashes and I'm getting the message, that there occurred an error in the nautilus-3.10.1-2.fc20 package.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I installed nautilus-search-tool (dependency gnome-search-tool) and it solved the problem.

I was also having a similar issue with the previous installation of Fed 20 i386. I have re-installed everything except did not installed any of these Nautlus extensions:

  1. gnome-mplayer-nautilus
  2. gnome-terminal-nautilus
  3. nautilus-search-tool
  4. nautilus-phatch
  5. nautilus-pastebin

And also I did not installed "Cinnamon".

Nemo and Nautilus clash with each other. Whereas thunar, PcmanFM, and Caja works fine.
