Has the name of the device changed? Look at the output of

nmcli d

At first nmcli d didn't show any thing, so i restated the networkmanager service, and now the output is as this:

DEVICE TYPE STATE
em1 ethernet connected
VLAN100 vlan disconnected
VLAN110 vlan disconnected
VLAN119 vlan disconnected
VLAN120 vlan disconnected
VLAN130 vlan disconnected
VLAN140 vlan disconnected
wlp3s0 wifi disconnected
lo loopback unmanaged

but even then it didn't work, i got

# nmcli connection up Office ifname em1
`Error: Connection activation failed.

so then i did ifconfig em1 down && ifconfig em1 up, and for some reason it works again.
