Hello,

since this morning my linux wont play any sounds on headphones. I tried some google-fu, but without result. Here's my alsa-info output: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=8c2da6ddccfeaaafc6b3fe4e4e2c8d332af74594

I tried on Windows - everything works great.

First, use alsamixer and see if the headphones are in mute mode. [MM]= mute. To umute , select the channel (navigate with left/right arrow keys) and click the M key on your keyboard. To increase/decrease volume, use up/down arrow keys. Exit from alsamixer with Esc key.

To invoke alsamixer, open a terminal and write

alsamixer

If this doesn't help, install pavucontrol ( sudo yum install pavucontrol ) and try to control the device from there. See if it's muted or any other info.

I was in alsamixer before, and I saw MM, but I didn't know that stands for "mute". I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Thanks you very much, I choose pavucontrol and select Headphones (unplugged) as screenshot. It's working.
