Hi
yum install @xfce
switchdesk xfce
FWIW, switchdesk seems to be an old tool, most (all?) current display managers let the user select the DE he wants to use and remember that setting for subsequent logins.
I had installed fedora two times one with gnome and the other one with kde-plasma, but when there exist kernel updates it hid the other version and is impossible to select the other one in the grub2 . what do you recommend me?. Is better install on the same distro the other desktop that i want?
Or , how manage trial boot windows10, fedora_workstation(gnome) , and fedora xfce. I have had problems with updates in fedora because when there exist kernel updates it install the updates and hide the other fedora distro in the grub and I finish with only one fedora, the one that performed the kernel updates. any advice? pals
