Hi, I downloaded the right YUM RPM installation file for Opera and ran it it and It looked like it was installed, but I only get a generic "gear" icon and nothing happens if I try to run it.

Choosing the option "RPM package", it will download opera-12.16-1860.x86_64.rpm to your downloads folder, then install it with yum:

$ sudo yum install Downloads/opera-12.16-1860.x86_64.rpm

That is the way I did it right now :)

HTH,

Germán.

Hi

Opera:

Go to the link below and choose Distribution as Fedora, Package format as Default and click on Download. After the download is completed double click to install it.
