Why does gnome-software not list/index all software available? [closed]
Typing "poker" or "pokerth" for example into the search field of gnome-software does not lead me to what I'm looking for.
But when I type sudo yum search pokerth in my console I do find it.
Is gnome-software supposed to ignore some packages?
Thx.
See https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/39315/fedora-20gnome-shell-software-updates-notifications-missing/ . I guess gnome-software defaults need to be changed - too many users complain
I have reopen this question since it is not really a duplicate. It is a different problem.
Thanks Rahul.
KDE's software tool
apper
finds the program. If you don't use KDE, runsudo dnf install apper
.
