Terminal crashes, fresh fedora 20 install

Hi All, I was going to try Fedora, I nabbed the Fedora 20 desktop edition and installed it. The installation was a breeze, but from there things go south. I launch the terminal emulator, and within ~1 minute everything appears to freeze and crash. Once this has happened I can't manage to do anything, including swap to a new tty via ctrl-alt-f2 etc.

I've been googling this for the last hour, but so far no dice, and I'm not sure where to start.

1) Any ideas? 2) Are there logs for the terminal emulator somewhere?

Thanks for your time.

I think this might be related to this bug: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=956306 , it looks like you might need to change the terminal application to something different.

Let me know if that helped.

I had exactly the same behavior as of today. I've searched the filesystem (performed e2fsck check/repair , dumpe2fs list , but everything seemed clear). Probably that was the problem because a root session is always "up and running" in my gnome terminal window. Though I didn't use gedit but other programs, that makes no difference. Thanks for this bug report info.
