What happens if I rpm -U /var/lib/system-upgrade?
I seem to have a borked upgrade.
I can boot - sort of. Boot in the sense that x doesn't startup properly and yum doesn't work. Fortunately rpm does. The upgrade had obviously finished downloading all the packages I needed into /var/lib/system-upgrade
(thanks fedup0.8).
Some packages in /var/lib/system-upgrade
are installed but some are not. So my question is, if I boot up and run rpm -U *.rpm
, what will happen?
