Hey,

Im setting up a POS system for a friends small business. So my plan is to have windows 7 installed on a machine so she can use it as a basic PC for her book keeping ect... and for the POS i hoping to install fedora on a VM. but i dont want anything else installed on fedora (nothing at all other than the terminal).

is there a "blank" version out there?, a way to do it when installing fedora? or do i need to just sit and uninstall everything?

Thanks for any help

Gary

Just google around for existing solutions (http://sourceforge.net/projects/posper/ http://www.openbravo.com/get-started-free-download). First Fedora is totally inappropriate due to stability issues. Go for e.g. CentOS6, and perform a default installation

Use the netinstall. During install, you will get a nice selection window with options you can install ranging from minimal to everything, and everything in between. Pretty convenient.

Now in fedora 19, You didn't get Minimal install .

Best way is that remove unwanted software manually, like

If u want to remove libreoffice sudo yum remove libreoffice*

If u want to remove evolution sudo yum remove evolution
