Geany can not open file in windows share.

Before upgrading, I can using geany to edit source file in the smb://user@server in fedora 17 (lxde). However, with Fedora 19, this will cause the geany hang at open file stage.

What I have noticed is: 1. in fedora 17, the mount point is /run/user/user/gvfs/user@server, while in fedora 19, it is /run/user/1000/gvfs/windows-share:server=ip,share=user,user=user 2. pcmanfm can cause 100% cpu usage when trying to access /run/user/1000/gvfs/windows-share:server=ip,share=user,user=user 3. gedit or leafpad don't suffer with that, geany and some other IDEs - code lite, codeblocks have trouble.

Is there any solution for this problem, maybe I should rollback the gvfs-smb?

You should rollback or create a bug with geany

Maybe it is a bug of geany, but apparently a group of applications can not handle this situation, and all these application are still available in the fedora 19 repository.

You can also submit a bug on Fedora 19
