Cannot run Manjaro x86_64 in VirtualBox

Whenever I try to install Manjaro in Virtual box it gices an errors saything that the Linux kernel will only install on a x86_64 processor. and that I have a i686...Well I have a 64 bit laptop so am i supposed to configure something in the VM?

Yup! Yes need to check the "Enable I/O APIC" to be able to run 64-bit guests.

When you begin installation of a OS 64 bits or nor in VirtualBox Type Linux and Fedora (64 bits) have to have 64bits wroted in menu otherwise I can't install 64 bits vm . For example I got a Dual core duo , but CPU don't have vt-x so only can install 32 bits guests .
